Another great stay
Reviewed on 2025-04-01 by Alasdair M. , Glasgow, STD United KingdomLocation is fantastic, so good that it’s our second visit. Well managed on check in and check all made nice and simple. It’s a great place to stay but could do with a small refresh in particular the dining room chairs, along with the cutlery being an eclectic mix. But despite these minor issues we’d be happy to return for another stay
Very Bare Bones Unit
Reviewed on 2025-03-18 by Mary Ann L. , Lakewood, CO United StatesBring your own coffee, filters, salt & pepper. No ice maker and apparently the cleaning staff empties the ice trays when they clean. Dining room chairs have ripped fabric and sagging seats. Building location is ideal.

Great location, could use a little TLC.
Reviewed on 2024-02-23 by Harold B. , Crownsville, MD United StatesMy wife and I stayed for 4 nights and skied for 3 days. We found the property to be clean and in a great location. Good for sking and eating places. Check-in and parking was easy. The property was as advertised. As others said, the california king mattress needs to be replaced. The sofas were very nice. The dining room table chairs were not the most comfortable. The sheets and towels were nice. The ski locker room and the hot tub worked out well. The two humidifiers were a nice touch.
Great location, easy walk to Flyer lift, nice hot tub
Reviewed on 2024-01-09 by , Colorado Springs, CO United StatesLocation was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to Flyer lift. 1 bedroom but with a nook for bunk beds off the living room makes it almost feel like a two bedroom. Second bathroom was nice to have for sure. Kitchen had everything we need to cook simple meals. Outdoor hot tub was great after a long day skiing. Only complaint..bunk beds in the living room nook are very uncomfortable to sleep on. Very thin floppy mattress on top of lumpy slats. My teenagers slept on them but I really couldn't have done so.

Need new beds
Reviewed on 2023-02-23 by Jane G. , Colorado Springs, CO USIt was a good rental other than none of us, including our 3 yr and 9 yr old, slept well due to the beds. Lumpy and could feel the coil springs. We are all very tired.
Nice place, a bit dated and very hard bed

great location rustic living
Reviewed on 2022-08-08 by Shellie M. , WINDSOR, CO USWhile the location, staff, checkin etc was wonderful the place itself was rough. The location and view were good. All of the appliances worked althouh one stand alone fan was broken. All and I mean all the funishings had torn areas, the pillows were flat, the place smelled of pee. I know this is a dog place and tough but it seemed overwhelming. My dog was good as all are not I understand. We enjoyed our stay but do feel like because we had a dog they stuck us in the most worn outdated condo they could find.
Great location- needs an update
Reviewed on 2022-04-17 by Kimberly H. , Irwin, PA Unknownless than 2 minutes from any lift in center village. For $500 a night this place is BEAT UP. There is no comfortable seating and there is nowhere to put your stuff. all cabinates are full, and there are no dressers, or closets for the amount of people that can sleep in this place. Dog claw marks on everything, hole in the carpet when you enter. The fridge is missing a shelf on the door as well.
Great location, good space for what we needed
Reviewed on 2022-03-22 by Jennifer S. , Liberty TWP, OH USLocation really is steps from a lift and to restaurants/bars in the little town area. While the condo is a little outdated, it has what you need, especially since you'll be out on the slopes for most of the day. We cooked a full dinner and breakfast during our stay. Fairly spacious, it was great there were two bathrooms and at least a curtain for privacy for the one area. Unfortunately the fireplace didn't seem to work, but the hot tub on the property was nice!

Needs an update
Reviewed on 2022-02-13 by , Thornton, CO USUnit was very clean and great location and amenities. However the furnishings need to be replaced. The couch and throw pillows in living room are worn. The mattress in the bedroom is firm but needs a pillow top added for comfort. The smoke detectors are disassembled and do not function - surprised to hear this is allowed due to the age of this building and applicable fire codes. Concerning that the fireplace stopped burning and gas was leaked in the unit until we turned it off at the switch. Had we fallen asleep with the fireplace turned on we could have been killed by the leaking gas. Overall, this unit has sooo much potential, but the owners are not maintaining it, yet they have a high price tag to rent it.

Convenient, but a bit run down
Reviewed on 2021-12-15 by Mariano P. , Truckee, CA UnknownThat said, the location was fantastic, the price was lower than the other units (presumably to makeup for the lack of maintenance), and overall I enjoyed my stay! It was a 1 minute walk to the American Eagle chair lift, Jack's bar (quick breakfast), and Ten Mile Tavern (dinner). The indoor parking was convenient (perhaps a little tight but it did fit a full size pickup truck). It was nice to bring my pet in the unit, but I would have happily paid a large security deposit in exchange for the unit being maintained better.
The unit was run down. I had some friends over for dinner and it didn't present well. There was a piece of carpet cut out and missing, the size of my hand, about 5ft past the front door. It was immediately visible when entering the unit. The futon cushions were both ripped, on both sides. Not small rips, but foot-long rips. The dining chairs felt like they were ready to break. The cabinet door for the plates was cracked and felt like it would break off completely at any moment. The quality of this unit was clearly a level or two below all the other units in the Tucker Mountain Lodge and Passage Point buildings in the village.<br/><br/>That said, the location was fantastic, the price was lower than the other units (presumably to makeup for the lack of maintenance), and overall I enjoyed my stay! Affordable Getaway
Reviewed on 2021-09-27 by Kristen P. , Arvada, CO USWe stayed in this condo for 1 night at the end of September. Considering how expensive everything else was at the time due to peak leaf season, this was a great and affordable option. There do need to be some upgrades, however. The carpet and couch were chewed up from being a "pet-friendly" option, the heating did not work and it was very hot, and lastly, the smoke detectors were all disconnected. The views and the location in copper were fantastic. I would recommend this condo for a no-frills weekend in the mountains. They just need to address the heating and lack of smoke detectors.

Location great but a bit dated
Reviewed on 2021-09-12 by , Vista, CA USAs many others commented, and therefore we expected, the property is in need of updates. The carpet and furniture are very worn and there are scratches on the interior doors, likely from anxious animals being locked in the bathroom or condo. For a dog friendly rental with a great location, we anticipated some of this but likely the property owners will need to make some improvements or updates in the future. The onsite management company was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Sadly, the pool and hot tub were not open.
Good for 4 legged friend
Reviewed on 2021-08-24 by Karen K. , Centennial , CO United StatesThe rental process was easy and contact less. This unit is one of the pet friendly spaces. If you aren't traveling with a dog I would look elsewhere. The furniture is dog friendly, meaning there are tears in the fabric and its easily cleaned but not the most comfortable for humans. The kitchen chairs are saggy at the bottom so you may feel like you will fall through. The carpet has a large hole right at the entrance way. The second set of bunk beds is behind a curtain but I cannot imagine 4 adults sleeping back there. But it was nice to find a place so my dog could join us for some hiking.
Great place to get away and do remote work (good wifi!!)
Reviewed on 2021-08-01 by Lynn G. , FORT COLLINS, CO USTurns out it's relatively inexpensive to stay in the summer here. Nice and quiet (not a lot going in the village this time of year), right by a ton of trails, close enough to Frisco that you can run into town for supplies or to drop in at Outer Range Brewery. The condo is a bit worn around the edges BUT VERY VERY CLEAN. The bed was a bit hard, and there's no A/C, but it cools down at night well enough. I did have to do some work while I'm there and there was no problem with internet access even though I was downloading some big files. It was one things I was very worried about when I booked my stay and I had trouble getting someone to tell me if there was high speed internet there. Overall I'd be happy to stay again. Thanks for a great week away.

Perfect location, pet friendly, moderate price, needs updates
Reviewed on 2021-01-31 by , Overland Park, KS United StatesWe have stayed in this unit 3 times. It is a way for us to stay in a pet friendly Center Village unit with 2 baths at a more moderate price. We have 2 sons working at Copper Mountain and have visited twice a year for several years. I like that Copper Vacations provides an ample supply of paper products, towels, dish soap, etc. for the whole stay. The unit is kept clean as well. The downfall is the beds aren’t good and everything is increasingly worn. The mattresses on the bunk beds are so thin the slats and gaps are all felt. We want to return, but our sleep requires us to maybe search elsewhere next time.

Reviewed on 2020-10-22 by Juli P. , Valencia, CA USI'm grateful to find a place to stay that will accept my pet. I would stay again. I've rented many different units thru VRBO, none however that I needed to bring my dog, this condo worked out well for us. But if renting a unit w/o my animal I would probably stay in a different one. Plenty of silverware and dishes/bowls/cups/glasses. Pots and pans adequate. As far a baking, additional supplies would be nice (glass/ceramic baking dishes). Also, if you enjoy wine, I would bring some wine glasses with you, only 1 in the unit. Beds very comfortable, seating area comfortable. Bathrooms well equipped.
